Yesterday, twenty up-and-coming thought-leaders gathered at The Wikimedia Foundation in order to attend The OpEd Project’s “Write to Change the World” seminar. The group ranged from Chicago-style pizza enthusiasts to academics to independent film experts. For lunch, we walked to the park to picnic and enjoy the sunlight. Upon our return, we found a surprise from seminar leaders Kelly J. Kelly (formerly Nuxoll) and Christine Larson: we would be spending the last hour of the day on comfy couches!
Following the seminar, we joined OpEd Project mentor-editors and alumni (along with Founder Katie Orenstein’s parents!) at The View for a cocktail hour.
