Byline Survey: Week 6 Results

This week, only 17% of the op-eds printed in the New York Times and the Wall St. Journal were authored by women! The Washington Post published a slightly higher ratio, at 20% women. The online publications were, as usual, on average slightly higher than the print newspapers. The Daily Beast continues to print the greatest ratio of women, at 32% this week.

Among the college newspapers, the Columbia Spectator published the highest ratio of female authored op-ed’s, at 50%.
