This Thursday, we’d like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the folks at TED-Ed, creators of beautifully animated educational videos that teach outside the box. They’ve worked with some of our Public Voices fellows and leaders to put together some amazing lessons.
The video below is taught by OEP leader Michele Weldon, author, journalist, and professor at Northwestern University, on the power of narrative storytelling. It talks about journalism as a human narrative that captures the hearts and minds of audiences, an idea that can be applied to writers and reporters of all specialties.
Thank you, TED-Ed! We can’t wait to continue collaborating and creating more “Lessons Worth Sharing.”
