October 29th and 30th marked the official launch of our year-long 2015-2016 Northwestern Public Voices Fellowship, led by journalist-mentors Michele Weldon and Holly Kearl. This year’s 20 faculty fellows represent a wide cross-section of expertise and experience, including the American arts, creativity in music, brain development and function, families experiencing critical illness and much more.
Previous Northwestern cohorts have been some of the most prolific in the history of the Public Voices initiative, with last year’s class achieving over 187 concrete successes. Several of these former fellows joined us for a cross-cohort luncheon after the convening to pass the torch and share wisdom with their newest colleagues.
A warm welcome to the 2015-2016 Northwestern Public Voices Fellows. We are so excited to watch you influence the public conversation and carry on the legacy of your Public Voices colleagues.
