Write to Change the World, Chicago — December 6, 2015

Today’s Write to Change the World program brought together experts from the Chicagoland area, working on a breadth of issues including gender and migration, access to quality education, feminist theology and storytelling in the medical field. We look forward to hearing their voices influencing the public sphere in Chicago and far beyond.

We were excited to have Daniel Anello, CEO of New Schools for Chicago, in the room today. New Schools for Chicago  ensures that smart and effective policies are working in the best interest of families seeking quality school options. Founded in 2004, New Schools for Chicago has opened and supported more than 80 new schools, including charter and district-run schools.

Today marked our final Write to Change the World program in Chicago of 2015.  Over 100 changemakers and shakers came through our six Chicago public programs this year. A special thanks to all our brilliant alums–we can’t wait to see what you accomplish in 2016!

Do you want your voice to be heard?  Come see us in action. We run Write to Change the World seminars in 15 major U.S. cities on a rotating basis.  For more on our upcoming cities and dates, click here.
