Today in New York City, 23 OpEd Project Alums gathered to explore the theme of CONNECTION. We connected the dots between disparate ideas, fields, geographies and time periods. We explored the source of truly innovative thinking (where do good ideas come from?) and tested our ideas about time and timeliness. We looked for unlikely yet authentic connections across people, time, and space – and new ways in which our knowledge intersects with public events.
This was a special weekend for The OpEd Project. On December 3 & 4, over 150 people in 3 cities will joined us for “Write to Change the World” and for this advanced seminar on accelerating ideas through connection. Follow along on Twitter, where participants tweeted why they came and what they learned with the hashtag #writetochangetheworld.
Do you want your voice to be heard? Come see us in action. We run Write to Change the World seminars in 15 major U.S. cities on a rotating basis. For more on our upcoming cities and dates, click here.
